Tods Technology are looking to recruit for a Senior HSE Advisor, to commence work at our Portland, Dorset Manufacturing Headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day delivery of Health & Safety and Environment compliance throughout the business, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, customer, and certification requirements. The role supports ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety ISO 45001
- Implement and maintain the Health & Safety Management System
- Advise on risk control and legal compliance
- Develop and review Risk Assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work
- Lead incidents and near-miss investigations
- Conduct inspections and audits
- Manage Contractor H & S compliance
- Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks
- Environmental ISO 14001
- Maintain Environmental Management System
- Manage aspects and impacts and legal register
- Monitor waste, emissions and environmental performance
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation
- Compliance and Systems
- Ensure compliance with H & S and Environmental legislation
- Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits
- Maintain HSE documentation and records
- Drive corrective action closure
- Operational Support
- Provide shopfloor H & S presence
- Support all other departments
- Support new equipment (PUWER) and process changes
- Support expansion projects and facility changes
Qualifications Needed:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Internal auditor qualification
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 experience
Desirable:
- NEBOSH Diploma
- IEMA Qualification
- Aerospace or regulated industry experience
