Our environment is similar to a dockyard fitting setup; no two days are the same, and we work across a wide range of tasks. Experience is valuable, but we can train many of the specialist skills in house. We are open to candidates with a solid mechanical background who are keen to learn, develop, and get stuck in.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • General mechanical fitting and workshop tasks
  • Using a range of hand tools and power tools
  • Reading and working from drawings, including measuring and marking out
  • Manual handling and lifting operations
  • Assisting with slinging and lifting tasks (training available)
  • Drilling and tapping using hand drills, mag drills, and workshop equipment
  • Working with fibreglass, including sanding, trimming, and routing (training provided)
  • Adjusting scaffolding and boarding out work areas
  • Supporting a wide variety of workshop and fitting activities as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • A mechanical background or hands-on workshop experience
  • Confidence using common tools and equipment
  • Ability to read drawings and measure accurately
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
  • A practical, proactive approach to work
  • Experience with lifting operations or slinging is helpful but not essential
  • A team player who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality, works well within a team, and is confident following manufacturing instructions in a fast-paced environment.
