Our client, a growing manufacturing company based in Norwich, are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team. Ideally, our client is looking for someone with a mechanical background / knowledge.
Job Purpose: Reporting directly to the Warehouse team leader, responsible for working and wrapping of stock and end products, supporting daily KPIs and also working as part of a team to support lean and continuous improvement projects within the warehouse environment in line with quality needs; adhere to all company systems, policies, and procedures in support of the business needs.
- Maintain work flow by adhering to steps of the process; work efficiently around the work variables, using all resources and available methods to perform your function, work in support of continuous improvement; communicate any malfunctions of process; demonstrate a spirit of cooperation within and between departments and your work colleagues and the management team.
- Work to given priorities; communicate clearly any work or personal problems encountered that may affect your working day; achieve results by adhering to instruction to achieve daily targets through team working.
- Quality open to working with new equipment and techniques.
