Our client, a successful manufacturing business, is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operative to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position, working in Norwich.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Overtime is also available.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering bias and will be of a practical nature and work ethic. You will have solid experience using hand tools.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Highly organised and able to work under high pressure during busy periods.
- Be able to reliably commute to the Norwich office.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours and be able to work extended hours when required.
- Clean or near clean driving license is preferable.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, methods and terminology.
- Strong understanding of the principles of engineering and good working practices.
- Ability to make basic calculations around material dimensions and specifications without the use of tools.
