Our client, a manufacturing market leader in their field, is recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team for an immediate start. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 17:00. The role is based at their Great Yarmouth headquarters and may involve some travel to visit customers for repairs.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing/engineering environment experience
  • Mechanical and pneumatic experience
  • Experience working with electrical/electronics

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical assembly of parts to engineering drawings with minimal supervision
  • Assembly of pneumatic systems
  • Fault finding of mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Electrical/Electronics experience would be an advantage
  • Ensure assembly build times are met and improved on
  • Prioritise workload to meet delivery objectives
  • Identify and correct any non-conformances with the machine
  • Communicate with management and design teams on issues and ideas for improvement
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace adhering to company standards
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and policies as set by the company
