Our client, a market leader in the design, development, manufacture, and supply of Stainless-Steel containment storage solutions is currently seeking a Sales Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Eye, Suffolk, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00.
Role Purpose: To support the Distribution Manager in effecting the distribution of products to our clients' Distributors locations worldwide.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven work experience gained within a logistics role.
- A positive approach combined with efficient communication skills.
- An in-depth understanding of the role of a Logistics Coordinator/Controller.
- Computer proficient skills including MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft TEAMS.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Good administrative skills and a very high attention to detail.
- An excellent work ethic with the ability to mentor and influence the behaviour of others.
- A Levels or equivalent work experience gained within a Logistics environment.
- A second language would be an advantage, but not essential.
General Responsibilities: To provide advice to the Sales Department on the best transport principles and obtain quotes.
