Our client, a successful manufacturing business close to Norwich, are currently seeking a CNC Operator and Programmer to join their team
This is a full time, permanent position.
HOURS: Basic hours 8:30am — 5:00pm Mon — Fri lunch (30 min lunch)
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
·Must have a flexible approach to working hours and be able to work extended hours on occasions
·Good understanding of the principles of CNC machining, design and engineering
·Has a reasonable knowledge of CAD/CAM capabilities
·The ideal candidate will have a good engineering aptitude, will be from a CNC router (or similar) programming background.
·Prior programming experience or ability to learn proprietary programming software
·Ability to read and understand CAD/CAM drawings
·Ability to transfer practical CNC knowledge into program variables.
·Basic understanding of PC file structures and MS Office programs
·Ability to understand basic engineering calculations
·Fundamental appreciation of business concepts
·Able to demonstrate success and experience in a machining background. xgikmsk
·Have CNC machine minding experience within wood or metal work.
