Administrative Support Officer Our prestigious Norwich based client, (part of a cluster of internationally renowned research organisations), are currently recruiting for an Administrative Support Officer to join their team.This is a part time position working 21 hours per week on a temporary basis for approximately 26 weeks located in Norwich.Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the Development Team and the Chairman, working closely with the Director of Development and the Development Officer to streamline daily tasks.
  • Managing team calendars, coordinate diaries, scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Arrange travel logistics for the Director and Senior Staff including booking flights, accommodation and transport.
  • Prepare, organise and maintain accurate records / files.
  • Record and update data into the CRM system (Raisers Edge)
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information, ensuring professionalism in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate a dynamic and proactive approach, utilizing independent judgment and initiative to address challenges and improve processes.
  • As agreed with the line manager, any other duties commensurate with the nature of the post.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Acrobat, teams and sharepoint.
  • Ensuring data confidentiality at all times and compliance with GDPR.
  • Experience of working with databases / CRM
  • Proven experience of working in an admin role
  • Experience of organising meetings (internal and external to organisation)
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and manage conflicting demands on time.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills
