A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Mill Operative working for a well-established and prestigious company based in Shipdham, Norfolk. This is a full-time temporary position, with the potential to become a permanent position after 3 months.
Working Hours: Nights Shift: The working hours are Monday to Friday 18:00 to 06:00. You will work a 48hr week with 10hrs at basic & 2hr a day at overtime rate. With 2 x 30min paid breaks (weekend working expected during busy periods). With the opportunity to earn extra money with added skills bonuses, as you develop within the organisation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Flexibility & Adaptability, with a good working attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to high health, safety and environmental standards.
- Reliability & punctuality are key to the role being part of such a small team.

- Must have a forklift truck licence (ideally counterbalance).
- Applicants must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Key Duties:
- Picking and re-palletising daily orders accurately, stock counts, to assist with maintaining stock levels and adhering to stock rotation procedures.
- Manual heavy lifting.
- Carry out and record Daily Safety Inspections for operated mobile plant.
- Ensuring Finished Product is presented to the customer in a clean and tidy state.
- General housekeeping duties within the Warehouse Facilities.
- Ensure damaged bags / rework are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Comply with and uphold all aspects of the Company’s health & Safety instructions, requirements and policies.
- Work always within the framework and requirements of the Company’s obligations to the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS).
- Serve Customers and help with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Provide support and cover for all team members.
