Our client, a leading supplier to the telecommunications market, is seeking a Junior Sales Executive to join their Sales Department. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wymondham, ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in sales.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence to take responsibility following training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Good general computer literacy
- Additional language skills are an advantage but not essential
The Role:
You will support day-to-day sales activities, manage stock listings and auctions, and communicate with customers and internal teams. Full training and induction will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor daily sales communications, ensuring timely and professional responses to internal and external enquiries
- Oversee the administration of daily auction activity, including processing completed sales and updating order statuses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, preparing structured Excel reports for customers and internal use
- Verify receipt of customer payments and ensure orders are processed in line with internal controls
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication via phone, email, and messaging platforms
- Support new business development by identifying and engaging potential customers using approved online channels
- Coordinate logistics and deliveries by liaising with transport providers and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
- Assist with stock management activities, including stock takes, reconciliation, and reporting
- Support pricing administration, including updates to price matrix and sales listings
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to support efficient sales operations
- Represent the business at industry trade shows and events as required, including occasional overseas travel
