A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Mill Operative working for a well-established and prestigious company based in Shipdham, Norfolk. This is a full-time temporary position, with the potential to become a permanent position after 3 months.
Night Shift: The working hours are Monday to Friday 18:00 to 06:00. You will work a 48hr week with 10hrs at basic & 2hr a day at overtime rate. With 2 x 30min paid breaks (weekend working expected during busy periods). With the opportunity to earn extra money with added skills bonuses, as you develop within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Must have a forklift truck licence (ideally counterbalance)
- Applicants must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Key Duties:
- Picking and re-palletising daily orders accurately
- Stock counts, to assist with maintaining stock levels and adhering to stock rotation procedures
- Manual heavy lifting
- Carry out and record Daily Safety Inspections for operated mobile plant
- General housekeeping duties within the Warehouse Facilities
- Ensure damaged bags/rework are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- Comply with and uphold all aspects of the Company’s health & safety instructions, requirements and policies
- Work always within the framework and requirements of the Company’s obligations to the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS)
- Serve customers and help with loading and unloading vehicles
- Provide support and cover for all team members
