Our prestigious manufacturing client, within the luxury yacht industry based in Wroxham, are currently seeking a Joiner to join their team. The Joiner will be responsible for making a variety of boat furniture across the range of boats that our client has in build, working with multiple different raw materials such as teak, oak, and walnut, utilising a scope of tools and machines from band saws, table saws, and other hand-based tools. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of both internal and external yacht furniture.
  • Able to work on your own and within a team.
  • Maintaining both quality and culture.
  • Have awareness and the ability to consistently follow the company's Health & Safety policies.
  • Able to engage in the company's personal and professional development.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • To have a proven track record of completing work to a high standard.
  • Experience of working with raw materials and tools to a good standard.
  • Relevant City & Guilds qualification (Preferred, but not essential if experienced).
  • Knowledge of marine industry (Desired).
  • Time served bench joiner / cabinet maker.
  • Ability to read and use CAD drawings.
  • Ability to be organised and work to tight deadlines.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working at pace with a high volume of work.
  • Team player.
