Overview

Horticultural Support Assistant

Our prestigious Norwich based client, (part of a cluster of internationally renowned research organisations), are currently recruiting for multiple Horticultural Support Assistants to join their team.

This is a full time position working 37 hours per week on a temporary basis for approximately 8 weeks located in Norwich.

Hours: Mon to Thurs – 8am – 4pm & Fri – 8am – 3:30pm

Key Duties

  • Plant Waste Management
  • Growth area cleaning
  • Plant care support
  • Stalking, tying and re-potting
  • Any other plant care duties.

Key knowledge, skills & Experience

  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Experience of working with plants
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Experience of working in a research environment
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Attention to detail
  • Promotes equality and values diversity
