Warehouse Shift Leader

Our client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Leader.

This is a permanent position working full time at the Great Yarmouth site.

Hours

  • Week one
  • Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm
  • Friday 6am to 1pm
  • Week two
  • Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 10pm
  • Friday 12.45pm to 6.45pm

The role purpose is to lead and direct the warehouse shift team.

To ensure the warehouse operations meet quality requirements and achieve the plans.

To ensure the shifts complies with company expectations including health and safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by working safely
  • Ensure the shift performs efficiently and effectively to meet needs of internal and external customers.
  • Report daily on shift productivity.
  • Identify and assist continuous improvement and lean projects within department.
  • Responsible for OTIF delivery of components and materials to the site and finished products to P&S.
  • Raising appropriate QIs for delivery issues.
  • Comply with c GDP, Medicines, Medical Devices and Cosmetics regulations.
  • Ensure all logbooks are maintained and reviewed periodically.
  • Maintain agreed standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ensure shift compliance with the QMS.
  • Always work efficiently to current standards.
  • Prevent loss of time and maintain good timekeeping.
  • Avoid waste and identify and prevent where possible.
  • Suggest methods for continuous improvement.
  • Work as a member of a team both within warehouse department and site.
  • Support team with appropriate training, coaching and reviews.

  • Competitive salary, salary reviewed annually with an annual bonus payable in May depending on Company performance
  • Holiday is 25 days less 4 to cover Christmas closure plus bank holidays
  • Pension offered at 5%, increasing to 6% after 5 years’ service, this is offered on a matched / salary exchange basis.
