Our client, a manufacturing market leader in their field, is recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team for an immediate start. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 17:00.

Our client is looking for an experienced mechanical fitter to join their growing team working on new and refurbishment machine builds. The role will be based at their Great Yarmouth headquarters but may involve some travel from time to time visiting customers for repairs. The successful candidate will have a proven record assembling complex mechanical, pneumatic and electronic assemblies within the manufacturing/engineering industry.
Mechanical Fitter Roles & Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of parts to engineering drawings with minimal supervision
- Assembly of pneumatic systems
- Fault finding of mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Electrical/electronics experience would be an advantage
- Ensure assembly build times are met and improved on
- Prioritise workload to meet delivery objectives
- Identify and correct any non-conformances with the machine
- Communicate with management and design teams on issues and ideas for improvement
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace adhering to company standards
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and policies as set by the company
