Our prestigious, manufacturing client within the Marine and Luxury Yacht industry, are currently seeking multiple External Boat Builders, who will aid the External building of their yachts.

This is a full time, permanent position, based in Wroxham.

Knowledge Skills & Experience:

* Robust boatbuilding construction knowledge

* Competent manufacturing knowledge (timber, fibreglass products as an example)

* Knowledge of safe working practices and good understanding of Health and Safety

* Relevant C&G Qualifications or equivalent

* Excellent communication skills

* Skilled use of hand and power tools

* Reading and understanding technical drawings

* Experience of working with raw materials and tools to a good standard

* Previous experience in the marine industry working with timber/GRP boats (Desirable)

This crucial role within the business reports to the Boat Builder Manager, and will be responsible for making and fitting various components across our client’s range of boats, working to precise measurements and details on the exterior of the projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:

* Fitting sailing hardware (Winches, cleats, clutches and tracks)

* GRP/Fibreglass structure fitting and maintenance

* Fitting hull ports / marine windows

* Fitting of pull and push pits

* Fitting marine hatches

* Quality and snagging testing through deluge

* Skin Fitting Installation, Deck Gear Installation and Teak Deck Installation

* Window, Portlight and Hatch Installation

* Fitting various fibreglass components.

* Fairing & finishing of final Composite Modules

Our clients offers flexible working! As follows:

Working a Monday – Friday, 40 hour week… our client offers flexible working with enhanced rates and incentives available. Such as:

* Early starts from 06:30 to complete your 40 hours before a Friday.

* Enhanced overtime rates for completing 40+ hours.

* Additional ‘one off’ payments over 45 hours (alongside the enhanced overtime rates).

In this role, you will work as part of a close knit, experienced team. You will be joining a friendly, professional environment where you will be able to develop your skills and experience.
