We work with some of the most exciting venues, producers, and event organizers on the planet, and we're building the platform that helps them thrive. We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our Powered by TodayTix team to expand our partner portal to support theatre, sports, attractions, exhibitions and more. You’ll set the bar for design quality, translating complex, nuanced industry concepts into clear, elegant user flows — bringing systematic UX thinking, a refined eye for UI detail, and the confidence to drive decisions forward independently. This role sits at the heart of our B2B inventory and event management platform, shaping the experience for live event partners who rely on it to run their business. If you’re passionate about making complex tools feel effortless and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note: This full‑time position is based in London. We encourage collaboration by working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, whilst also offering flexibility for employees to choose where they work for the rest of the week.
What Success Looks Like:
- Independent Execution: You drive complex projects end‑to‑end with minimal oversight, proactively managing stakeholder expectations and scope changes.
- Strong Design Collaboration: You articulate design decisions clearly, rationally and objectively, advocate for users, and bring cross‑functional partners along with you.
- Growth Mindset: You approach challenges as opportunities to learn, and raise the bar for the people around you.
- Design System Stewardship: You leverage and evolve the Design System with taste and judgement, pressure‑testing the scalability of each component setting standards the broader team can follow.
- Craft Leadership: You consistently translate complex, nuanced product challenges into simple, intuitive user flows — without sacrificing depth or business logic.
What You'll Do:
- Lead design across complex B2B product initiatives, from early discovery through delivery and QA.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define and craft outstanding product experiences.
- Lead design reviews and brainstorming sessions, presenting regularly to design leadership and company executives.
- Proactively set expectations with stakeholders and communicate clearly when scope or direction shifts.
- Promote a culture of design excellence — mentor other designers, champion quality, and lead by example.
- Use AI tools fluently across your workflow (research, ideation, prototyping, and production) and help establish best practices for the team.
- Partner with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to a high standard.
- Regularly use the product to uncover usability issues, identify bugs, and suggest thoughtful improvements.
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- 6+ years of experience in Product Design, with experience in a lead or senior capacity.
- Strong UX fundamentals and a refined eye for UI — able to simplify complex concepts and work within a Design System with taste and judgement.
- B2B or dashboard/data‑heavy design experience — comfortable designing for complex, information‑dense products.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, with experience conducting generative and usability research.
- A strong portfolio of user‑centred, beautifully executed UI — ideally including B2B or enterprise product work.
- AI fluency — you actively use AI tools to work faster and smarter, including a willingness to use AI‑assisted coding to contribute directly to the design system and frontend.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive work forward without excessive oversight.
- Excellent communication skills — able to present and defend work to stakeholders at all levels with clarity and confidence.
- Experience working in a squad, collaborating with developers and QA engineers to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
