TOCA Social is the world's first dining and entertainment experience with a football twist, and it is set to change the game! Our first venue opened in 2021 in The O2, London; we now have 3 venues in the UK and our first venue in Dallas, US! We are set to open in Paris, Mexico and Guatemala in 2026!
At TOCA Social, Everybody Plays! Football knowledge is not required, so if you thrive in an energetic and fun environment, you'll quickly fall in love with our concept!
Location: Hybrid with travel to venue locations across the UK, Europe at least 2x per week
Reports to: Global Talent Development & Learning Lead
Hours: 45 per week (1 day a week dedicated to completion of Level 5 Digital Learning Designer Qualification)
Contract: 19 months, with possibility of a permanent role at the end, dependent on business needs

Role overview: As TOCA continues to scale across corporate and franchise markets, we are developing learning systems to maintain pace with operational changes while supporting long-term leadership and capability growth. The Learning Designer & Administrator Apprentice will own the design, maintenance, and reporting of learning content and platforms across both TOCA brands (Soccer and Social), ensuring learning remains accurate, accessible, and relevant.
This is an apprenticeship role, designed for someone early in their learning or People & Culture career, working closely with our Global Talent & Development Partner mentorship and gaining first-hand experience in a global learning and development role.
Key responsibilities:
- Learning Design & Content Maintenance: Creation and maintenance of operational learning materials across both TOCA brands, including:
- Classroom-based workshop materials (participation guides, facilitation guides and tools to use during the workshops)
- E-learning modules and structured learning pathways for teammates
- Job Aids, SOPs and assessments
- New venue opening learning toolkits
- Menu changes
- Service updates
- System and process changes
- New territory launches
- Maintaining clean, accurate learning pathways
- Uploading, updating and archiving learning content
- Monitoring completions, engagement and learner progress
- Building quizzes, assessments and knowledge checks
- Ensuring data accuracy and platform governance
- Teammate observation and coaching tools (Legend Service Assessments) and their usage and engagement
- Training contribution to Spend Per Guest (SPG)
- Onboarding completion and readiness
- Venue, territory and franchise comparisons
Requirements:

- Awareness of e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar learning design software
