Come and Join our Plant Machinery Cleaning Team!

This role will assist the Production department by ensuring machinery is cleaned to a high standard.

Full training will be provided.

  • Flag Yard - Monday to Friday 3pm to 7pm (20 hours p/week)

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning duties will include cleaning concrete and will include Cleaning Hoppers, Feed boxes, weigh house, Tail Drums and mixers.
  • Cleaning to a high standard using a combination of vibration tools such as air and electric kangos, scrapers and hammers.
  • Ensure machines efficiently cleaned in line with Production times, following Company procedures and safety requirements.

Ensure targets are achieved maintaining quality expectations.

  • Access and egress to confined spaces may be required such as hoppers and mixers.
  • May involve Working at height and the use of safety harness and fall arrest.
  • Emptying bins with the use of a Forklift (Full training will be provided). Ensure bins are emptied at the end of shift.

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive manual handling.
  • Frequent lifting of equipment throughout the shift
  • Requirement to move safely in confined spaces.
  • Safely climb ladders and work at Heights.
  • Frequent use of hand arm vibration tools.
  • The requirement to wear Respiratory Personal Equipment for 30 minutes at a time.
  • The requirement to wear Personal protective gear during the cleaning shift.

  • Working experience in Production / Industrial Cleaning setting
  • Experience of Vibrating tools such as air kangos.
