What's in it for you?

Shift Details
- Day shift: You will normally be offered one of the following shift patterns (depending on the plant you are allocated to):
- 47.5 hours per week, 5 days (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5.30pm)
- 44 hours per week, 4 days (between Monday - Friday, 6am - 6pm)
Induction Week: Your first week will be on days Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm approx.
This role will provide you with exciting challenges and opportunities within Manufacturing. You will provide excellent support to the Production Team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Machine Operators will be required to set up machines using computer panels to produce world class paving products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Understand mix designs and run times, successfully carrying out mould changes and also quality inspections.
- You will receive on the job training.
- You can expect to get real life, hands on experience and learn as you go.
- You will be supported and mentored through work participation and receive an individual training and Induction programme.

About The Role
- Set up machine to manufacture world class products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Understand mix designs and run times.
- Be able to carry out mould changes successfully and efficiently.
- Carry out quality checks and record data.
- Identify and report maintenance issues.
- Problem solving in terms of maintenance / quality issues.
- Setup the machine to make the products as per the production plan.
- Setup the machine by using computer panels to get the right product mix and design.

- Previous work-related qualifications within a Manufacturing setting
- Working experience of Machinery / Manufacturing Industry
- Working experience in Production / Industrial setting
- Experience of Use of Machinery Controls
- Forklift Experience
- Production related administration experience such as check sheets/ computer or iPad
- Full and clean driving licence
