We are an innovative and growing company that is always actively seeking skilled engineers for high precision and high profile machining. Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will work primarily with Aerospace & Motorsports components, joining a long-standing team based at our works in High Wycombe, Bucks.

Responsibilities:

  • CMM experience of Mitutoyo Cosmos & Cat 1000 Software would be an advantage
  • Experience with a variety of inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometers, Height Gauges, etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • First Off’s, Final Inspection and FAIR’s and associated quality-related paperwork
  • Ensuring Quality and Delivery performance is achieved

The Person:

  • Previous experience of working as a Mechanical Inspector would be an advantage, preferably within a similar precision-based industry, such as Aerospace or Oil & Gas
  • The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be confident working to strict quality standards, and may have previously worked in an AS9100 Quality Systems environment
