The Role in a Nutshell
As a Producer at Toaster EMEA, you are an integrated production all-rounder who is confident, meticulous, and resourceful. You will be ultimately responsible for managing projects from inception to conclusion, collaborating closely with creative teams, and partnering with clients to deliver end-to-end work to the highest standard. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and confidently manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, always keeping a sharp eye on processes, workload priorities, project finances, and key documentation.
What you’ll do
- Project & Process Management
- End-to-End Delivery: Own and drive integrated digital projects across a variety of formats, including digital campaigns, social content toolkits, video production, animation, branding assets, print collateral, layouts, and websites.
- Project Architecture & Controls: Maintain complete order across projects by setting up key tracking systems and controls, establishing clear folder structures in Google Drive, and logging project details in burn sheets and status systems.
- Documentation Excellence: Independently scope, draft, and manage project-level documentation using agency templates—including precise scopes of work (SOWs), cost estimations, resource mapping, detailed project timelines, slides, briefs, and client contact reports.
- Risk Mitigation & QA: Proactively identify potential scope creeps or project risks, develop solid contingency plans, and enforce rigorous internal quality assurance (QA) checks and client reviews at key milestones.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure all deliverables conform strictly to regional agency production processes, security protocols, privacy rules, brand guidelines, and diversity requirements.
- Financial Oversight
- Budget Tracking & Margins: Monitor project financial reports regularly to safeguard agency profit margins, keeping tracking sheets up to date against forecasts, third-party costs, and freelance burn rates.
- Timesheet Integration: Ensure internal and external team resources accurately log their time to maintain a precise view of project profitability and studio utilisation.
- Client & Relationship Management
- Client Partnership: Act as a dependable day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, establishing strong, trusting relationships and leading clear, action‑oriented client status meetings.
- Strategic Communication: Deeply understand client needs, address feedback with a strategic mindset, and translate complex client briefs into streamlined internal production plans.
- Growth Support: Collaborate across the London studio and global teams to support the onboarding of new clients and identify new business avenues within existing accounts.
- Resource Allocation & Team Collaboration
- Studio Casting: Manage resource allocations in scheduling software, flagging capacity conflicts or freelance resource gaps ahead of weekly status meetings.
- Creative Alignment: Partner smoothly with cross‑functional agency departments (Creative Directors, Strategists, Designers, Artworkers, Copywriters, and Developers) to brief them clearly and protect the creative pipeline.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience delivering design‑led, content‑first, or animated integrated digital campaigns within an agency framework.
- Expert handling of project financials, budget tracking, estimate configurations, and scope definitions.
- Strong digital fluency and a robust understanding of the full creative lifecycle—from client brief through strategy, creative, layout, asset creation, and final delivery.
- Excellent communication, professional presentation, and client‑facing navigation skills.
- Familiarity with navigating multi‑tier client approvals (experience partnering with major tech‑sector clients is a significant advantage).
- IT literacy across essential collaborative platforms, including expert‑level navigation of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides, and Chat).
