The Role in a Nutshell
As an Integrated Art Director & Designer at Toaster EMEA, you are the heartbeat of our creative output. We are looking for someone who is equally obsessed with big, disruptive ideas and the finer details of execution. You aren't just a thinker or a maker, you are both. You can spin a complex brief into an engaging digital experience, sketch a raw concept on the fly, and then jump into Figma to build out the final, pixel-perfect assets. Working side-by-side with Creatives, UX designers, and developers, you will push the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital landscape.
What you'll do
- Concept & Execute: Bring "big idea" thinking to integrated cross-channel initiatives, moving seamlessly from conceptual moodboards to client-ready designs.
- Collaborate: Partner closely with copywriters and the wider creative team to flesh out briefs, participate in brainstorms, and co-create compelling visual narratives.
- Own the Craft: Lead design execution across social media, digital display, and large-scale web/app projects, ensuring everything aligns flawlessly with brand guidelines.
- Balance the Load: Comfortably switch between high-level creative projects and day-to-day production tasks (e.g., asset resizing, preparing production-ready files, and polishing presentation decks).
- Leverage AI Tech: Actively integrate generative AI tools (such as Gemini, Adobe Firefly, and Veo) into your workflow to rapidly prototype visual directions, iterate concepts, and inspire the wider team.
- Maintain Design Hygiene: Keep high standards of file organisation and cleanliness in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
What you'll bring
- The Experience: Proven midweight experience in a digital agency or fast-paced creative environment, backed by a portfolio that showcases both strong conceptual thinking and polished design execution.
- The Toolkit: Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. A genuine passion for emerging tech, with hands-on curiosity for AI-assisted design workflows.
- The Eye: An uncompromising attention to detail and a true craftsman mindset—pixels, alignment, and typography matter to you.
- The Mindset: A proactive, "can-do" attitude. You don't just wait for direction; you look for ways to add value, present your ideas with confidence, and take constructive feedback in your stride.
