Role Description

As Store Manager you will have full accountability for the day-to-day performance of all aspects of store operations. You will use your initiative to deliver the brand’s performance and cultural expectations, manage stock and space to maximise sales potential and profitability, and ensure delivery of the brand’s visual standards. You will deliver efficient back-of-house operations to support store performance. You will be an ambassador for the brand’s culture in your appearance and behaviour and will develop your team to the same high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your store and accountability for all of its operational functions.
  • Deliver store Sales, Payroll and Stock Management KPI targets and manage all other costs within agreed budgets.
  • Deliver TOAST’s Customer Service expectations personally and through the development of your team.
  • Deliver TOAST’s Brand Visual standards using all available information.
  • Commercially manage your stock package to balance high sales performance with appealing presentation.
  • Provide detailed feedback to key liaisons regarding stock performance.
  • Maintain an excellent back-of-house operation that supports the store and facilitates secure trading.
  • Recruit and develop a highly effective team, providing training and guidance.
  • Create opportunities for succession through coaching and development.
  • Actively pursue self-development and training to continually improve performance.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment with risk assessment and strong housekeeping.
  • Liaise with Head Office to facilitate excellent store performance.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador, representing TOAST in appearance and behaviour at all times, and instilling the same in the team.
