As a District Field Sales Manager you will be a founding leader of our Scottish sales organisation. You will report into a Regional Vice President and will hire, build, and coach a team of field based Territory Account Executives who are in the field everyday transforming the way restaurants operate. You’ll work closely with your sales team on how to understand restaurants’ unique needs and develop customised solutions that help their businesses thrive. We need your passion and sales management expertise to help us build the Toast brand in your district.

This is a Home/Field opportunity with local travel open to candidates in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Candidates must live local to the area or be willing to relocate.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

  • Hire, manage and develop a quota-achieving sales team

  • Attract and retain elite Account Executive talent

  • Coach a team to run effective discovery meetings, live demos, and craft a bespoke solution to restaurateurs using Toast’s varied tech offerings

  • Innovate and execute on a go to market strategy, ultimately developing demand within the Vancouver marketplace

  • Manage partnerships with other tech providers to generate referral demand

  • Leverage Salesforce to track, audit, and influence the business

  • Partner with our Onboarding and Care team leaders to deliver a world class customer experience

  • Leverage knowledge of Toast’s product and business to replicate success internationally

  • Help build the foundations for our internal processes in international markets

  • 3+ years of outside sales management experience with complex hardware and software solutions

  • Demonstrated sales management experience selling into areas with limited or no market penetration

  • Able to perform well under pressure, and can demonstrate the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity

  • Has strong knowledge of restaurant operations

  • Has a strong understanding of the Salesforce CRM
