Job Description

Location: Toals Bookmakers, 5-7 Fountain Place, Ballymena.

Full‑time Bookmakers Clerks (entry level) in the Ballymena Area. The role will include training to independently run a successful betting shop.

Responsibilities

• Processing bets and assisting with customer queries.
• Working as part of a team to assist the day‑to‑day running of the shop.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintaining high shop standards.

Shop hours are Monday‑Sunday, 9am‑9pm. Hours will be allocated on a weekly rota basis.

Qualifications

Essential

• Full UK clean driving licence.
• Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role or cash handling.
• Good communicator.
• Flexible – the business operates 7 days a week.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Enthusiastic people person.
• Reliable and hands‑on team member.

Desirable

• Demonstrable IT skills.
• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above.

Pay and Contract

Salary: £13.20 per hour. Full‑time contract.
