Every day is an adventure in this exciting and rewarding role! As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll be part of a caring team that supports children from 3 months to pre-school age. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and warmth to every day - helping little ones thrive in a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment.
We offer a variety of opportunities, including:
- Full time, 40 hours a week
- Job shares, varying from 2-3 days a week
- Part time, 20 hours a week

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £26,000 per annum.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Working together with the rest of the team to provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
- Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities.
- Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents.
- Making sure every working day is fun!
About our Wellingborough Nursery: Located in Glenvale Park, our purpose-built nursery opened in December 2023 and features three spacious rooms and a large garden. The nursery can accommodate up to 100 children per day, offering an engaging and enabling environment. We provide free on-site parking, and the train station is just a 5-minute drive away for those using public transport.
Who we are: Toad Hall Nursery Group was established in 1993 and since then we have grown to 14 settings, where 440 employees support our 1,100 children a day. Essential knowledge, skills, qualifications & experience:
- Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
- To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
