- Lead Quality and Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands-on support in rooms.
- Inspire and Support the Team: Engage actively with children’s learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas — from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.
- Drive Success and Growth: Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high-quality setting for children and families.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Full Level 3 qualification in early years education or equivalent.
- Higher childcare qualification and/or management or leadership qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience in the childcare sector.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Understanding of EYFS and Ofsted regulations.
