We’re looking for an inspiring leader to join our amazing team as an Assistant Nursery Manager at our Watford nursery! Working alongside the Nursery Manager, you’ll help lead the team, ensure the highest quality of care and education, and play a key role in promoting the nursery and managing occupancy. Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality and Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands-on support in rooms.
  • Inspire and Support the Team: Engage actively with children’s learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas — from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.
  • Drive Success and Growth: Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high-quality setting for children and families.

About our Watford Nursery: Conveniently situated on Hempstead Road, just minutes from the town centre, Watford Junction and with easy access to the M25 and M1, our spacious nursery offers a warm and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our large, well-equipped garden features designated play areas for each age group, creating the ideal setting for sensory and exploratory play while fostering curiosity and creativity.
