We’re looking for an inspiring leader to join our amazing team as an Assistant Nursery Manager at our Walton nursery! If you’re passionate about early years, love supporting people, and have the drive to help a nursery grow and thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
Working alongside the Nursery Manager, you’ll help lead the team, ensure the highest quality of care and education, and play a key role in promoting the nursery and managing occupancy. Bring your energy, ideas, and EYFS expertise - and help us make every day magical for children, families, and staff alike!
Key Tasks & Responsibilities- Lead Quality and Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands‑on support in rooms.
- Inspire and Support the Team: Engage actively with children’s learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas – from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.
- Drive Success and Growth: Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high‑quality setting for children and families.
An enhanced DBS check and a full and relevant Level 3 qualification are required. The ideal candidate will also have a higher childcare qualification and/or a management or leadership qualification. Candidates who do not possess the relevant experience will not be considered.
