We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to join our welcoming team in Walton on Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on childcare experience who is passionate about early years education and creating a nurturing environment for young children to thrive. About the Role
As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help deliver engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the daily care and supervision of children aged 0–5
- Assisting in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities
- Promoting children’s social, emotional and physical development
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Contributing to observations and learning journals where required
