Key Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
  • Providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
  • Assisting in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.

About our Crawley Nursery: Opened in 2024 on Ifield Road, just minutes from Crawley town centre, our nursery is set in a beautifully renovated Victorian home. Children enjoy bright, modern, spacious rooms, including a dedicated art studio, and gardens with free-flow access for year-round outdoor exploration.

Who we are: Toad Hall Nursery Group was established in 1993 and since then we have grown to 14 settings, where 440 employees support our 1,100 children a day. Job requirements: We’d love to hear from you if can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • A full and relevant Early Years qualification – Level 3 or above
  • An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework
  • Experience of people management and dealing with employee issues
  • A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation including equal opportunities legislation
  • To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid
