Salary up to £29,57.60 per annum for Nursery Nurse; up to £32,552 per annum for Room Leader.

Key Details

  • Full time (40 hours) and part time (20 hours, 11am-3pm) available.
  • Role open to those with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, or Level 2 considered.
  • We are also recruiting for qualified Nursery Nurses to join our Supply Team.

Responsibilities

  • Working together with the team to provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day nursery operations by adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Use knowledge and creativity to develop activities and ideas.
  • Build relationships with children and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Make every working day engaging and fun.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (Level 2 considered for some roles).
  • Knowledge of EYFS and ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
  • Experience in planning, observation, and keeping records for nursery-aged children.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
  • Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Leadership Opportunity

  • Room Leader: you’ll lead a team, communicate effectively at all levels, and ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and Health and Safety standards.
