Location: Haslemere - GU21 2AT

Positions Available:

  • Maternity Cover Contract – 40 hours per week, up to £31,886.40 per annum.
  • Permanent, part-time – 27 hours per week (08:00‑18:00, Wed to Fri), up to £21,523.32 per annum.

With experience leading a team, you combine warmth and professionalism with a strong understanding of EYFS, Ofsted, and Health & Safety standards, helping to create a safe, happy, and high‑quality environment for every child. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
  • Providing day‑to‑day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
  • Assisting in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.

About Our Haslemere Nursery: Just minutes from the High Street and a 10‑minute walk from the train station, our nursery is housed in a historic former schoolhouse, providing a warm, inviting environment. Bright, spacious rooms and a large dining area support engaging cookery club activities. We also offer Ballet sessions and Forest School to enrich children’s physical, social, and cognitive development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A full and relevant Early Years qualification – Level 3 or above
  • An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework
  • Experience of people management and dealing with employee issues
  • A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation including equal opportunities legislation
  • Fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid
