We offer a variety of opportunities, including:

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £29,286.40 per annum. Please be advised if you do not possess a full and relevant qualification or experience within the childcare sector your application will not be considered.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Working together with the rest of the team to provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
  • Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities.
  • Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents.
  • Making sure every working day is fun!

About our Haslemere Nursery: Just minutes from the High Street and a 10-minute walk from the train station, our nursery is housed in a historic former schoolhouse, providing a warm, inviting environment. Bright, spacious rooms and a large dining area support engaging cookery club activities. We also offer Ballet sessions and Forest School to enrich children’s physical, social, and cognitive development.

Essential knowledge, skills, qualifications & experience:

  • Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
  • To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
