About the Role
This AWS Security Engineer position involves securing AWS-hosted environments with a focus on identity and access management, vulnerability management, compliance, and incident response. The engineer will collaborate closely with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to mitigate security risks and maintain a strong cloud security posture for Metaskil’s clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain robust identity and access management controls in AWS environments
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and execute incident response plans to address security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall cloud security
- Continuously monitor and analyze security logs and metrics
- Provide security guidance and training to internal teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in AWS security and cloud infrastructure management
- Expertise in identity and access management, vulnerability management, and compliance
- Strong understanding of security best practices and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI DSS)
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail)
- Ability to analyze security logs, identify threats, and implement remediation measures
