About Fibre Nova Fibre Nova is a fast-growing full-fibre broadband provider, bringing gigabit connectivity to communities across the UK that have historically been overlooked by major providers.

As part of a three-company group alongside Access Fibre (civils and infrastructure) and Run Fibre (wholesale and infrastructure), Fibre Nova is scaling rapidly across live and upcoming build sites nationwide, with a target of 100% BDUK voucher utilisation across all sites by March 2027.

This role is a key hire in the build-out of the marketing team, bringing structure, energy and consistency to how Fibre Nova shows up in the communities it serves.

The Role We're looking for a Community and Events Coordinator to take full ownership of community engagement and events across our build sites, end to end.

Fibre Nova's growth strategy depends on strong local awareness and trust in the villages and communities we're building in.

This role is central to that, working hand-in-hand with the sales and canvassing team to convert awareness into registrations and voucher sign-ups.

You'll own everything an event or stand needs to run, from sourcing locations and ordering the materials (stationery, literature, roller banners and other marketing assets) through to being on site yourself to host it.

This is a genuinely fast-paced, growing role.

As Fibre Nova rolls out across more build sites, you'll be planning further ahead and juggling more activity at once, so strong forward planning and prioritisation skills are essential alongside great people and hosting skills. £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of Fibre Nova's community engagement and events, from initial planning through to delivery and wrap-up, across active and upcoming build areas (villages such as Hooton, Fourgates, Ashley, Crank, Pennington Wharf, Lowton, Monksfield, Sycamore Road, West Kirby and Ainsworth, among others).
  • Proactively engage with local communities in each build area, building genuine relationships and understanding what matters to residents ahead of any event or campaign activity.
  • Source and secure suitable venues and locations for engaging community events, such as village halls, community centres, local markets, fetes and other high-footfall local gatherings.
  • Source and order all materials and assets required to operate events, including stationery, literature, giveaways and marketing assets such as roller banners, gazebos and signage, working with the wider marketing team and external suppliers to keep everything on-brand and ready ahead of deadlines.
  • Manage stock levels of event materials across sites, forward planning what's needed well in advance so nothing is missing on the day, even as the number of concurrent build sites grows.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and the canvassing team to align event activity with voucher registration targets and local sales pushes.
  • Own the logistics for each event: venue/site booking, risk assessments, staffing rotas, equipment transport and setup/breakdown.
  • Personally attend and host events and stands, wherever they're taking place, representing Fibre Nova and being the confident, friendly face residents speak to about the product, the build timeline and the voucher process.
  • Build relationships with parish councils, community groups, local businesses and village hall committees to secure event slots, sponsorships and partnership opportunities in build areas.
  • Support geofenced and location-specific campaign activity by feeding local insight and event dates into paid media and video content planning (working with the Digital Marketing Executive and video partners).
  • Be available to feature in social media and video content from events and stands as needed, helping bring Fibre Nova's community presence to life online.
  • Track and report on event performance (footfall, leads generated, voucher conversions) to feed into the wider marketing KPI reporting.
  • Manage the events budget and supplier relationships (marquees, print, promotional merchandise, catering) to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Support Access Fibre and Run Fibre with occasional group-level events (trade shows, partner events, recruitment days) as the group's presence grows.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience planning and delivering community, field marketing, or experiential events, ideally in telecoms, utilities, or another sector with local/regional rollouts.
  • Skilled at building relationships with local communities from a standing start, and confident sourcing and securing the right venues and locations to run engaging events in each new build area.
  • A natural planner who can forecast what's needed for multiple events across multiple sites well ahead of time, and stays organised as the number of live sites grows.
  • Comfortable owning the sourcing and ordering of physical materials and assets, managing suppliers, budgets and stock levels without needing to be chased.
  • Excellent people and hosting skills.

Warm, confident and comfortable being the face of the brand at events, on stands, and occasionally on camera for social content.

  • Happy to travel and work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to attend and host events at build sites across the UK.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable with a role that will grow in scope and complexity over time.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to rural build sites.
