TNS has an opportunity for a Receptionist to become part of the Facilities Team providing admin support to TNS staff and assisting with the running of office facilities. This is a part-time, office-based role totalling 22 hours per week. The preferred working pattern is Monday to Thursday 8:30am–1:00pm and Friday 8:30am–12:30pm. Minor adjustments to start/finish times may be considered, however applicants must be able to work broadly within these hours.

The role of the receptionist is to support the running of the London office and staff and to carry out general office and housekeeping tasks. The role requires someone with good communication skills and attention to detail who can show initiative.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the good housekeeping around the office, kitchen and meeting rooms
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Setting up and helping with staff events
  • Greeting and signing contractors and occasional visitors
  • Sorting and distributing post
  • Assisting with the weekly Fire Alarm test
  • Assisting with staff arrangements such as booking accommodation and organizing travel
  • Assisting with facility tasks when needed – busy times, holiday cover
  • Any other Adhoc tasks
