THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead a critical business systems transformation programme. The successful candidate will take ownership of replacing our in-house developed application (currently serving as a CRM, HRMS, and Project Accounting system) with a scalable, best-in-class solution aligned to our growth strategy. The candidate will work across multiple initiatives, including an ongoing HRMS implementation and the planned upgrade of our accounting system. A key focus will be ensuring seamless integration between systems and alignment with business processes.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, end-to-end project ownership, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Whether you’re looking to step up into your next level of responsibility, develop your technical skills, gain more exposure to stakeholder-facing work, or broaden your project portfolio, this role offers significant scope for growth. We understand that career journeys aren’t always linear; this opportunity may equally suit someone seeking a sideways move into a new team, discipline or environment where they can make a real difference and apply existing expertise in a fresh context. At TNEI, you’ll be supported to shape a career pathway that fits your goals while contributing to high impact projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and go-live.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, and Marketing to document and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyse current systems and processes (AS-IS), identify gaps and inefficiencies, and define future-state (TO-BE) workflows and solution requirements.
  • Support system selection and vendor management, ensuring clear translation of business needs into deliverables and alignment across CRM, HRMS, Project Management and Finance systems.
  • Oversee integration design, data migration, training, testing (including UAT), and implementation activities to ensure a smooth, coordinated deployment.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential requirements include:

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering complex systems implementations.
  • Strong experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, HRMS, and Finance/Accounting platforms.
  • Experience working on system integration projects (APIs, data flows, middleware, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working across the full project lifecycle (requirements through to go-live).
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
  • Experience in professional services, energy, and/or consultancy environments.
  • Familiarity with project accounting and resource management systems.
  • Experience supporting CRM, HRMS and/or Finance system implementations.
  • Knowledge of integration tools or platforms (e.g. middleware solutions).
  • Exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Why should you apply?

  • Work life balance: 25 days holiday & a day off to celebrate your birthday
  • Flexible working: Hybrid, core hours & annual alternative working location
  • Career growth: Development opportunities & funded professional memberships
  • Financial rewards: Discretional annual bonus scheme, employee ownership dividend & pension
  • Family-friendly: Enhanced family & carers leave
  • People & Community: Cycle to Work, travel loan, discounts platform, socials & charity matching
