THE POSITION

We’re searching for a Project Analyst to join us at an exciting stage of our growth. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analyse project profitability, identifying variances and providing insights to improve project financial performance across the group portfolio
  • Oversee project setup, ensuring all projects are properly configured in financial systems with accurate cost codes and revenue allocations
  • Support Finance and Project Systems and Process Transformation initiatives, helping to improve ways of working, data quality, reporting capability and system adoption
  • Delivery of Order to Cash Reporting (Sales, Project Profitability, Credit Control Reports), providing accurate and timely financial data to support commercial decision-making across a group project portfolio
  • Partner with commercial leads to support delivery against sales backlog and revenue forecasts, ensuring commercial objectives are aligned with financial realities
  • Provide Support to the controller in partnering with commercial functions

REPORTING LINE

This position reports to the Group Financial Controller.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential requirements include:

  • Experience with project accounting, project management systems, or project finance
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Excel) and financial/project management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience working in a consultancy, professional services, or commercial environment
  • Knowledge or experience within the energy sector (power, renewables, electricity networks)
  • Knowledge of revenue forecasting, sales pipeline management, or commercial planning
  • Experience of working with or supporting the implementation, optimisation or adoption of project accounting and resource planning systems
