This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

The role sits within the Global Broking Centre (GBC) in London. The GBC is an integral part of Aon’s global broking strategy. The GBC provides colleagues across the Aon network access to specialist brokers and client managers, dedicated client solutions and thought leadership, and significant global insurance capacity. The GBC works with network colleagues to deliver market-leading solutions to Aon clients, creating a competitive advantage in our placement strategies worldwide.

What the day will look like:

  1. Client management and broking, serving a worldwide portfolio of clients produced on a wholesale and retail basis, from presenting a winning go-to-market strategy to clients and prospects to handing over placement slips to our support team.
  2. Leading impactful strategy meetings and delivering London market insurer roadshows that showcase exceptional care to deliver market outperformance for our clients.
  3. Leading reviews of clients risks, preparation of underwriting presentations, and review of insurance documentation produced by our support team.
  4. Proactively contributing to the portfolio’s growth, developing new relationships, pitching to clients, and leading winning tenders.
  5. Managing market relationships, developing new ones in support of the global broking strategy.
  6. Working closely with Yacht clients to ensure our global best practice is achieved.
  7. Opportunity for travel, including prospecting and representing Aon by speaking at conferences.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  1. Experience in yachts, Hull & Machinery, Protection & Indemnity
  2. Knowledge of type/builders/model/engines/moorings/berthing and all complexities of yachts of all values
  3. Line slip and facility experience
  4. Deep understanding of the yacht market appetite and challenges
  5. Cross selling
  6. Wording/ technical expert
  7. Sanctions/KYC/Governance
  8. Pipeline and revenue tracking
