Arterra Wines Canada is Canadaβs leading producer and marketer of award-winning, globally recognized Canadian and imported wines. Winery Associates are responsible for providing consistent, outstanding hospitality to all visitors by offering engaging and informative tours and tastings, with the goal of encouraging sales. Ideal candidates will have hospitality experience, with wine knowledge being a plus. Candidates should be energetic, personable, upbeat, responsible, and available for flexible shifts, including weekends. Multiple positions available.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with wine tastings and purchases
- Conducting engaging and informative winery tours, including structured tastings for groups
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Using point-of-sale systems and performing opening/closing duties
- Assisting with special events
- Representing the winery at offsite events
- Stocking wine and giftware
Job Requirements:
- Smart Serve Certification
- Experience in hospitality or customer service
- Basic wine knowledge; training will be provided
- Passion for learning about wine
