Salary: £11.84 per hour (increasing after 6 months training)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00

About the Role

Our client, a leading UK steel stockholder based in Stockport, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative. This role offers stability and a chance to be part of a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual handling of steel products
• Loading
• Operating an overhead gantry crane
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Working efficiently to meet targets and deadlines

Key Requirements

• Strong background in manual labour or warehouse work
• FLT Counterbalance licence preferred
• Experience operating a gantry crane is an advantage but not essential
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
