TPS Warehouse Operative

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the TPS Warehouse Operative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound warehouse parts stock efficiently, supporting excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:

• Performing quality checks on stock deliveries
• Identifying and placing inbound parts into correct locations
• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
• Adhering to FIFO stock control processes
• Maintaining stock security and condition
• Assisting with regular stock checks
• Locating faster-moving parts conveniently to improve efficiency
• Providing high levels of customer service during parts picking and assembly
• Handling trade customer visits efficiently
• Following health and safety regulations, especially manual handling
• Complying with business processes and warranty guidelines
• Processing returns and exchanges accurately and promptly
• Using and updating systems effectively

What are we looking for?

• Experience in parts or distribution operations involving inventory control and order picking
• Passion for the automotive industry
• Experience in providing excellent customer service
• A positive attitude and honest disposition
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Computer literacy, including systems like Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Accurate and legible record-keeping skills
• Methodical approach with attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
