Warehouse Operative/Lorry Driver

Based in our warehouse at Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry, you will be a key part of a customer focused team responsible for order assembly, loading and delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

1. Picking products throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for despatch/delivery according to the daily schedule.
2. Packing orders to a high standard ensuring despatches have the correct labels and paperwork.
3. Inspection of orders being dispatched/returned, checking for damage/defects.
4. Storing goods, moving stock around by hand or a forklift truck.
5. Keeping paperwork up to date.
6. Ensure that at all times you work within the guidelines laid out in the Armatile Health and Safety Policy.
7. Relief lorry driver with opportunity to become full time lorry driver.

Person Specification

1. HGV 2 Licence and up-to-date CPC.
2. Will display accuracy and attention to detail at all times to ensure our products leave the warehouse in good condition.
3. Will have a strong work ethic.
4. Physical stamina will be important as manual handling is a key part of the job.

Experience

1. Experience of working within a busy warehouse environment would be an advantage – One year (preferred).
2. Experience of sorting stock would be an advantage.
3. Will display accuracy and attention to detail at all times to ensure our products leave the warehouse in good condition.
