Pertemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Logistics company based in the Sunbury area.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7-4pm & 8am-5pm

Salary: up to £26,984

Duties:

  • General warehouse operations including picking, packing, and housekeeping duties.
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift - must hold a valid licence.
  • Handling goods in and goods out, including offloading/loading vehicles and using our in-house system to book in stock with precise weight and dimension checks.
  • Accurate checking of paperwork, stock levels, and bond checks.
  • Handling and processing import/export airfreight shipments.
  • Container loading and unloading, including loose carton offloads, palletising, and shrink-wrapping.
  • Communicating professionally with customers both face-to-face and via email.
  • Using Microsoft Excel, Word, and email platforms confidently.
  • Ensuring clean and safe working conditions through consistent housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Warehousing experience and Counterbalance licence
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual.
  • Computer literate and have great customer service.
