Warehouse Manager, Sawbridgeworth

Job Description:

Our client, a small well-established family-run business, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their busy and expanding team.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for a candidate capable of supervising and working across all areas of the business. The role involves managing two other staff members, requiring high levels of organization, numeracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.

The annual salary ranges from £36,000 to £38,000, depending on experience, and includes the use of a company van.

The workweek is 45 hours, Monday to Friday, starting from 5:00 am, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
• Supporting the unloading of lorries using a counterbalance forklift truck and pallet truck, as well as the safe storage of goods.
