Job Description:

CK Group is recruiting for a Virus Production Shift Technician to join a global animal health company based in Pirbright on a contract basis for 6 months.

Salary: £17.48 per hour PAYE (inside IR35)

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in practical manufacturing operations, aseptic operations, and skill development.
2. Manufacturing bulk volumes of inactivated virus antigen in compliance with UK and company Biosafety, EHS, and GMP standards.
3. Performing cleaning, decontamination, and steam sterilization of vessels and plant following SOPs.
4. Filling out department batch record documentation accurately and in compliance with GDP.
5. Managing stock levels and ensuring equipment is cleaned and autoclaved.
6. Operating in Grade A/B clean rooms performing aseptic manufacturing.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Good organizational skills.
2. Ability to work methodically under tight timelines.
3. Experience with Good Documentation Practice.
4. Experience in industrial pharmaceutical production in a regulated environment.
5. Good IT skills, preferably with SAP/GBS experience.
6. Experience working in GMP environments.
