We are seeking an experienced Senior Concept Design Engineer. Your responsibilities will include investigating new car concepts and layouts, primarily using CAD to produce high-quality models, communicating, describing, and visualizing future design directions. The role involves multiple iterations to optimize and adapt designs to changing parameters.

Responsibilities

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula 1 Team is one of two Red Bull-owned teams. We seek a candidate who can:

• Create high-quality CAD schemes for future car designs using Siemens NX 12 CAD system, managed by Teamcenter11.
• Provide reports on development ideas to support performance assessment and communication.
• Collaborate closely with the Concept Group and other technical teams, maintaining good communication.
• Assist Detail Design groups as needed, with approval from the Head of Concept Design.
• Investigate new ideas and layouts for future car development.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in an F1 design environment or high-level motorsport experience (LMP1, LMH, LMDH, etc.).
• Broad understanding of car layout, systems, aero, design, analysis, manufacturing methods, and limitations.
• Proactive problem solver with a \’can do\’ attitude.
• Open-minded to new ideas and performance-based design assessment.
• Willingness to travel 10-20%, including occasional trips to Faenza offices.
