The Geosciences team provides consultancy and design services to a range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies and local authorities. Responsibilities:
- Undertaking site work using GPR and EML techniques for on-site service avoidance in preparation for intrusive site investigation works.
- Undertaking site work using EML and cover lifting techniques for utility mapping works to PAS128 standard.
- Site works, processing and drafting of utility mapping projects to PAS128 standards in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- Working as part of a team and training junior members on EML techniques.
- Managing ongoing projects.
- Liaising with external clients and internal site investigation teams for project scheduling.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Willingness to travel around the UK.
- Adherence to our technical and operating procedures with a strong sense of health and safety awareness.
- Experienced Utility Surveyor (3+ years industry experience).
- Competent in use of EML equipment for completion of service detection and PAS128 mapping surveys.
- QCF Level 3 and/or higher in Utility Mapping.
- Experience in use of GPR equipment for utility detection.
- Experience in use of High Precision GPS & Total Stations.
- Experience in use of 2D AutoCAD.
- Competent IT skills including Excel, 3D CAD would be an advantage.
- Must hold a UK driving licence.
